A Heights Home That Boast Storage & Functional Spaces

On today's tour, I walked an amazing house in The Heights. It was like the builder was able to read all my thoughts about not having enough shelves or closet space at my own home! When it comes to shopping for a house, most home buyers are looking for 3 things. A great home that fits their needs, location, and of course, price. This would definitely tick those boxes for most home shoppers.

Let's start with the basic house details...

  • 3 bedrooms
  • 3 full and 1 half baths
  • 2 car attached garage
  • 2,304 square feet inside
  • Built in 2014

Now, if you've seen 3 and 4 story homes in and around The Heights (like in Rice Military/Washington Cooridor, Cottage Grove, Timbergove/Lazybrook...etc...etc...) you probably already know the basic floor plans. First floor is a garage, a guest bedroom with a nice full bathroom; second floor is the living, kitchen, and dining; and the third has a couple more bedrooms and bathrooms. What made this Heights Home so unique to me was all the additional perks and features.

On the first floor for example, you know that space under the stairs that normally gets wasted? Here there is a walled off section with a FULL walk in closet! Bigger than most master bedroom closets! I'm serious, check the video if you don't believe me.

The second floor, it's not one of those floor plans where the dining area is plopped between the living and kitchen to create a void or divide between them. This one is nicely put off to the back of the living area surrounded by light infused windows. Outside those windows, lush, beautiful green-space. All three areas are connected in a triangle situation to make everyone feel included no matter which section they are in. And the true white colored cabinets and built-ins are just another compliment to the barrage of natural light that comes in through the barrage of windows. Nice modern tones tie everything together without a hitch.

I won't go into detail about the third floor. Ok, just a little. I have to brag about the master bedroom. Number 1, it's quite spacious. If you look at the video, you can see a king sized bed on one side and a whole side open for a comfortable seating area. Perfect to relax and catch up on some peaceful reading. The real bragging point is split between the simple yet elegant master bathroom and the separate his and hers closets. Or, as some couples refer to as, "hers and hers". Built-ins crafted high up in both and generous lengths of clothes hanging rods make these closet amazingly functional for all seasons of clothing.

Some other notable benefits:

  • Guest parking? PLENTY.
  • Gated neighborhood? OF COURSE =)
  • Heights Hike & Bike Trail? A MINUTE AWAY FROM THE FRONT DOOR.
  • Direct neighbors? ON ONE SIDE AND ACROSS.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So how many words is a video worth and what words would you use to describe this glamorous Heights home? Leave a comment below.

Full details and more pictures of the home are available HERE.

Thank you so much for reading/watching and as always, I'm here to help.
